Joseph Ewbank is a painter and sculptor based in Folkestone, exploring the rift between art and science; demonstrating the similarities in their methods of production, and inspecting concepts of conventional beauty, objecthood & transformation. His paintings a documentation of his processes, they undergo iterations of being painted and scraped back once dry, then the scraped paint being remixed & repainted, or transformed into sculptural objects.
